As part of a new concert series, we are now presenting spa concerts in Buckow, a Kneipp health resort in the Märkische Schweiz region, 60 km east of Berlin.
The concerts take place in the ballroom of the Restaurant & Hotel Märkische Schweiz, Hauptstr. 73, D-15377 Buckow. Bad Buckow can be reached by taking the RB26 train to Müncheberg, followed by a bus connection, a 30-minute bicycle ride, or a scenic 100-minute walk. Parking is also available for those arriving by car.

Yulia Chaplina: Solo Piano
Yulia Chaplina comes from a family of musicians in Rostov-on-Don. She studied piano at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, where she lived for many years. She has won several first prizes at prestigious competitions, including first prize at a Tchaikovsky competition. Today, she is based primarily in Berlin, where she performs and teaches.

Violin & Piano Duo: Anna-Maria Barth and Alexey Pudinov
Violinist Anna-Maria Barth is concertmaster of the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, while Alex Pudinov is an internationally active and award-winning german-russian concert pianist. In their programme “Sound of Women,” they present works by female composers from around the world – from Clara Schumann, Amy Beach and Amanda Maier to Florence Price, Lili Boulanger, Sofia Gubaidulina and Polina Nazaykinskaya. A spirited afternoon dedicated to the great women of music – some of whom are still waiting to be discovered by a wider audience!
